dONALD tRUMP has BLOOD ON HIS HANDS!
His Entire Administration has BLOOD ON THEIR HANDS!

Those of us who lived through the AIDS Crisis have seen this before: A Government that would let its own people die! A Government that murders its own citizens!
Sounds like some foreign dictatorship doesn’t it?
It’s not.
It happened here.
And, not coincidentally, it was American Government Leaders of the same gender, the same race and the same political party as we have in office now!

A few weeks ago, friends began commenting to me, “Wow! We’re back here again!” The feelings this pandemic brings up have some resonance with what we felt and experienced during the AIDS Crisis. I have read opinion columns that talk about how unrelated the two are – how in the AIDS Crisis we had No Support Whatsoever. The Republican Administration then would provide neither funding nor support, nor even mention the acronym AIDS. We were on our own to handle it, and to care for one another through death.

By contrast, in this current pandemic, there are press conferences every day, and the world is for the most part participating in trying to contain this disease and save lives, rather than ignoring the plague’s existence. And this is good.

Awareness is always Good!
Community is always Good!
Saving Lives is always Good!
But the negligence is the same. The White Male (Most of them Straight, Most of the Time) Republican attitude of ‘I’m OK, so who cares if you die!’ or now ‘I have food, so who cares if you can’t get any!’ of those in office is the same.
And perhaps it has activated in me some kind of PTSD, but there is fully half of my brain that is taken up with this. I am not able to be more than half present in any conversation because half of my brain is turning over some daily atrocity that has come out of the White House:

* tRUMP’s response to PETER ALEXANDER’s question about what he would say to the American People who are scared…

dONALD tRUMP is still belittling reporters – he is unfit for the office of President and he proves this over again every day!

* The absence of DR. ANTHONY FAUCI at daily press conferences after he disagreed with tRUMP, and had to correct him one too many times…
Worth mentioning that I am not a fan of DR. FAUCI from his behavior during the AIDS Crisis, but compared to everyone else in this Administration so bereft of scientific and medical expertise and using daily press briefings as mini-tRUMP Rallies and propaganda to praise the Sociopathic Imbecile in the Office of President and his Colossal Incompetence as some sort of attribute, FAUCI seems like the only voice of reason on that stage. But of course, he disagreed with the little despot, so he must step aside.

* This week, tRUMP steamrolled over FAUCI’s attempt to answer a question about the effectiveness of hydroxychloroquine, the malaria drug that tRUMP keeps pushing as a cure for Coronavirus even though Medical Doctors do not agree.

Snopes tells us that it is “mostly false” that tRUMP has a vested financial interest in promoting the drug.

Does Trump Benefit Financially by Promoting Hydroxychloroquine as COVID-19 Treatment?

…and that would be fine, except that he is President and took an oath to protect you!

He did this as a warning to anyone in his administration who might wish to come out about how tRUMP mishandled the Coronavirus pandemic.
Have we had enough of this tyranny?

* Announced earlier this week: In spite of the need for Massive Coronavirus Testing, tRUMP removed Federal funding  for Coronavirus testing yesterday. No. Really…

* In the meanwhile, as so many Americans die as a direct result of this administration’s Heartless Coldblooded Negligence and Vast Incompetence, MELANIA tweeted about the lovely new tennis courts at the White House!
But when criticized, she pushed back with her signature #BeBest
* And what of the Misinformation coming out of tRUMP and his propaganda network, FOX NEWS…
GERALDO RIVERA told everyone on Fox News that if you can hold your breath for ten seconds you do not have this virus. LIES!
All of the FOX NEWS hosts played into tRUMP’s downplaying of this virus — how it would just go away, and it was just like an ordinary flu, anyway! It was “a Liberal Democratic Hoax”…
They too are complicit in this tragic loss of Life which we are now experiencing!
BLOOD ON THEIR HANDS!!!

Once notified of the impending health crisis, tRUMP had 70 days to plan for this pandemic in the United States!
Instead he was off golfing at the taxpayers’ expense!

* Why don’t we have ventilators?
* Why don’t our health care personnel and for that matter, our grocery store clerks and delivery persons have appropriate Personal Protective Equipment?

* Why is the Federal Stockpile depleted?

* Why did the White House change the Health and Human Services Website from reading, “nation’s largest supply of life-saving pharmaceuticals and medical supplies for use in a public health emergency severe enough to cause local supplies to run out,”
to saying instead, that the stockpile’s role
“is to supplement state and local supplies during public health emergencies. Many states have products stockpiled, as well.”
based on notoriously pathetic failure JARED KUSHNER’s comment at a press conference, “The notion of the federal stockpile was it’s supposed to be our stockpile. It’s not supposed to be states’ stockpiles that they then use.”
LIES! LIES! LIES! LIES! LIES!
That is not at all what it is supposed to be – it was paid for with my tax Dollars and those of my Veteran Father’s, and keep your slimy Slytherin hands Off It!
You’ve done no service! You’ve paid no taxes like your lox of a father-in-law, and it is NOT Yours!

Although what he said is not true, once he said it the Government Statement on its website was altered to accommodate the Lie.
This represents a new level of Orwellian Terror! And yet, most people bypassed it as just another meaningless news headline in the shitshow of this administration.
But let’s pause and seriously look at what they just did!
They altered the facts posted on the Federal Government’s Health & Human Services website to move them in line with a selfish lie that JARED KUSHNER told.
No one complained.
No one seems to have the authority, willingness or conscience to stop them.
tRUMP’s supporters seem to think it’s great that this Colossal Failure just rewrote our government to his own advantage.
Americans will die without those ventilators!

tRUMP appointed JOHN BOLTON (a bizarre and terrible choice for any Leadership position!) to head the National Security Council and In May 2018, President Donald Trump’s biodefense preparedness adviser warned that a flu pandemic was the country’s No. 1 health security threat, and that the U.S. was not prepared.
dONALD tRUMP was given that information.
tRUMP and BOLTON responded by disbanding the Global Health Security’s pandemic preparedness office, as tRUMP does with anyone who says anything he doesn’t like.

Some people in government positions in this country have advocated that we all go back to work in a few weeks and just let the old people die.
Let us be reminded that when we separated from an unjust government nearly 245 years ago, our Declaration stated that it was due to
“circumstances of cruelty & perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the Head of a civilized nation.”
Please read that last sentence again. It is Thomas Jefferson’s language from the United States’ Declaration of Independence.
I can imagine no more accurate definition of this phrase than Texas Lieutenant Governor DAN PATRICK and his Republican cronies who put their own agenda ahead of the Lives of their Citizens.
It is reminiscent of JONATHAN SWIFT’s “A Modest Proposal”, although back in 1729 such a proposal was considered satire.

There are countless Social Media Posts by folks diminishing the impact of this disease and insisting that all of this is an overreaction.
The science and medical professions beg to differ. I understand that that is a form that fear takes. These people are scared for their children and spouses and Loved Ones. And so, they resort to Denial.
In my experience, Denial is the first stage of Death, so I will not go there!
But I confess that I have been sucked into the vortex of arguing with them, researching, and presenting evidence to the contrary.
And although I present facts (such as actual tapes of tRUMP contradicting himself)…
I present evidence (based on Medical Science and the CDC which is still our best source for what is known medically)…
Generally, this brings about a shitstorm of insults and comments from their tRUMP-supporting friends,
And it is way more time consuming than if I just ignored the spread of misinformation.
But I can’t ignore it!
Can any of us afford that?
Do we want this administration to continue in their World Evil?
Can we afford to stop paying attention?
(I understand that sometimes we need to withdraw from the arguments to protect our own sanity!)
But we all have license to speak for TRUTH!

Already my social media is flooded with those who say that they will never vote for BIDEN and that they will refuse to vote in November!
Do they not realize that they are getting bamboozled by the tRUMP Propaganda Machine in the same way that his followers have!?
This is exactly what tRUMP and his manipulators want us to do!

BERNIE SANDERS has made it clear that that is not what he wants.
So if you claim to support BERNIE and then behave in this way, completely antithetical to his instructions, then perhaps you never really supported him, and you were just in it for what you could get out of it…
Reprehensible, and it makes sense that, whether you know it or not, tRUMP is your candidate, and you would help him to get reelected.

Remember that a vote for BIDEN is a vote for Intelligent People in Government again.

* Amid the explosive worldwide outbreak of the virus Trump proposed a 19% cut to the budget of the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention plus a 10% cut to Public Health Services and a 7% cut to Global Health Services. Those happen to be the organizations that respond to public health threats.
* In 2018, at Trump’s direction, the CDC stopped funding epidemic prevention activities in 39 out of 49 countries including China.
* Trump didn’t appoint a doctor to oversee the US response to the pandemic. He appointed Mike Pence.
* Trump has on multiple occasions sowed doubt about the severity of the virus even using the word hoax at events and rallies. He even did it at an event where the virus was being spread. Trump has put out zero useful information concerning the health risks of the virus.
* Trump pretended the virus had been contained.
* Trump left a cruise ship at sea for days, denying them proper hospital care, rather than increase his numbers in America.
Repeat. We do not blame Trump for the virus. We blame him for gutting the nation’s preparations to deal with it. We blame him for bungling testing and allowing it to spread uninhibited. We blame him for wasting taxpayer money on applause lines at his rallies (like The Wall). We blame him for putting his own political life over American human life. I hope this clears things up.”

This is why the U.S. has the highest number of cases of Coronavirus on the planet.
It is always difficult to write about these things. Our minds try so desperately to keep these things at bay, and this Administration counts on that! Our ignorance helps them thrive.
When we just need a break from the news, this serves their agenda.
They want us to ignore what they’re doing! That is part of the reason they purposely flood our new feeds committing so many atrocities at once. They figure we will need to put it out of our minds, and so they can get away with even more!
Besides, who wants to read a post like this one in the midst of a pandemic?
It can feel so depressing to look at the brutal reality of these statistics, en masse like this, and to think how we here have barely scratched the surface of what this oligarchy has been up to this week alone!
I understand.

But it is So Important that we do rise up and face it now and then!
And that tRUMP does not get away with saying,

It is essential that we talk about it!
It is essential that we speak it and post it and remind people of this EVERY DAY through Election Day!
