Because I hesitate to write about anything that isn’t an attempt to stop the rise of DONALD tRUMP to Power.
It is Paralyzing.

It is only another 25 Days until this Election but Free Floating Anxiety tears at our insides.
I know HILLARY is not perfect.
But that last debate!
He did say that, if elected, he would put her in Jail.
That’s Martial Law, isn’t it?
Are there people Voting for Someone threatening to impose Martial Law in our Country????
She was investigated with regard to her emails by a Federal Agency, and found Not Guilty.
So if he is elected, and he puts her in Jail just because he wants to…

I have nothing against Conservatives.
But it is worth thinking about what the word means.
The American Heritage Dictionary offers the following Definitions:

conservative — adj — Favoring traditional views and values; tending to oppose change; moderate; cautious
 
liberal — adj — Open-minded; tolerant. See Syns at broad-minded; Favoring civil and political liberties, democratic reforms, and protection from arbitrary authority; tending to give freely; generous; Abundant; ample.

So, I guess I’m not a fan of Conservatism.
And I feel that being Liberal is Very Cool!

But, regardless of your position, if you do support DONALD tRUMP, I question your thinking.
If you are voting for a third party candidate, I question your thinking.
If you think that by Not Voting, you are making a statement toward Peace or a Better World, I question your thinking.

He does not accept pity for those who would vote for tRUMP, and he calls them out.

I do understand the anger of the unemployed and the lower middle class — I have been Both — still, who can, in good conscience, advocate the exercise of what Trump Supporters refer to as the “Flight 93 Option”
Of the three groups mentioned above, My Faith is in the Young People.
I do not believe that they will go along with this, and, of course, they have the most at stake.
I Believe they shall come forward, override the apathy of the few and mobilize to save the Country.

The Visiting Nurse Service came to do an Evaluation of my 89-year old Mother, yesterday.
Testing her faculties, the Nurse asked a bunch of unrelated questions in rapid succession.
One question was, “Are you going to Vote?”
“Oh, Yes!” MOM replied, most assuredly.
“Who are you voting for?” the Nurse asked.
“HILLARY!,” MOM replied quite definitively.
“Why’s that?” the Nurse asked.
“Well,” MOM replied indignantly, “You don’t think I’m going to vote for tRUMP, Do You?”
“Why’s that?” asked the Nurse.
“He is an OBNOXIOUS MAN!” MOM declared!
“I think that’s actually a rather mild way to put it,” the Nurse agreed, and she passed MOM on her evaluation, approving that her faculties are all in tact!

Really?
You can be Muslim and a Woman, and still be undecided in this Election?

As for “Locker Room Banter,” while I am not a WorkOut Bunny by any means, I do get to the gym about one-third of the year in fits and spurts — sometimes 5 times a week, and other times I don’t make it for weeks and months… But I’ve been doing this for thirty years, and I have heard talk like that in Locker Rooms… maybe 2 or 3 times in thirty years!
So it is Not Common Locker Room Banter.

I do not believe anyone voting for tRUMP is thinking rationally — either that, or they are just owning their own Bigotry, Misogyny and Homophobia, and behaving accordingly.

I am Troubled by a Female Relative who posts all over FaceBook that HILLARY is a criminal because she believes the machinations of FOX NEWS and seems to actually think that DONLD tRUMP just “says mean things” but she intends to vote for him.
I am Troubled by the Woman who called into NPR this morning and said that she doesn’t like HILLARY because BILL CLINTON is a rapist and HILLARY stayed with him.
The Broadcaster gently corrected her that BILL CLINTON was never accused nor convicted of such a charge.
Do you seriously hold a woman accountable for the behavior of her husband?
…The behavior of her husband twenty years ago?

Trump made $4 billion dollars in 40 years, when an index fund started at the same time with the same “small loans” he received, it would be worth $12 billion today… without a trail of bankruptcies, thousands of lawsuits and hundreds of burned small business owners. He’s a real business whiz.
Hillary took a loss of $700k. She’s a criminal. Trump is the first candidate in the modern era not to release his tax returns, and yet we found out that he took a billion dollar loss in 1 year. Genius.
Hillary takes responsibility for private email servers and apologizes. Not credible. Trump denies saying things (on the record) he actually said (on the record), he’s just telling it like it is.
Really???
Your arguments are thin. Your ignorance of reality is shocking. Your double-standards are offensive, and your willingness to blindly support him and recycle the rhetoric is absurd. Your opinion is not fact. Your memes are not news articles. And your hypocrisy is not a platform.”

Then she asked, “What are you going to say to your parents tomorrow when you get home from school?”
Again, having been drilled all day we replied in Unison,

I remember thinking to myself, “I Thought Nuns were Religious and supposed to be more about Healing than Politics…”
